Rajasthan is one of the most popular places in the list of the top destination wedding planners in India. This beautiful state with a rich heritage and innumerable exciting places offers you a great opportunity to organize your wedding ceremony there. Some of the best Indian wedding planners recommend Rajasthan if their client seeks a royal wedding-themed ceremony. As one of the well-known wedding planners in Delhi, we also have experience in organizing a beautiful wedding ceremony at the amazing looking Umaid Bhavan situated in Jodhpur. It was a great experience and we were happy that we could fulfill the wishes of our clients to the tee and gave them a fairy tale wedding setting that they and their guests will remember for a long time to come.

The planning: Both the bride and the groom’s families were NRIs and were looking for a wedding ceremony that will help them connect with their roots in more ways than one. As both were originally from North India, we suggested Umaid Bhavan as one of the places where they can organize their marriage ceremony. After looking at the photographs depicting the layout of the Umaid Bhavan they agreed to our proposal and gave us the go-ahead to organize a beautiful wedding ceremony that would be a blend of natural, laid-back with the backdrop of royalty ensuring fun in all the best ways possible.

The inspection: Once we got the green light, then we started the planning process. The first was to take the parents of the bride for sightseeing of Umaid Bhavan. This was to give them an idea of what to expect on the D-Day. The parents were awestruck and fully approved the choice of their daughter and would-be son-in-law of this great Palace as a venue for their marriage ceremony. After the seal of approval from the parents of the bride, we booked the Umaid Bhavan for three days; pre-wedding night, wedding night and the reception. To bring some variety we suggested that they select the Taj Hari Mahal in Jodhpur for the Mehndi ceremony and the beautiful Meherangarh fort as an ideal place for organizing the Sangeet ceremony. After they visited these two places they again wholeheartedly agreed with our choices.

Mehndi: For the Mehndi ceremony, we opted for a fun atmosphere at the Taj Hari Mahal so that the guests can enjoy their time there. For this ceremony, the bride wished to decorate the venue with colorful umbrellas and flowers for a mela theme. As a wedding planner, we wanted to exceed her expectation so we decided to surprise her with royal shamianas, shamadaans and beautiful crystal chandeliers. For the bride, we created a beautiful -looking enclosure that gave a lounge-like feel. To make the occasion truly memorable, we in consultation with the bride’s parent gave the guests a few gifts to remember the occasion which included bangles, ittar, dupattas, and mojris.

The main affair: The marriage ceremony was a beautiful affair with the marble structure of Umaid Bhavan forming a great backdrop. The entire wedding venue was decked with myriad colors of the flower. To give this marriage touch of royalty, we also arranged the groom to arrive on the back of an elephant. The bride wore a beautiful red saree that was decked with ornaments making her look simply stunning.

The reception: For the reception, we in consultation with the parents of the bride made it a black-tie event and decorated the entire venue with fairy lights and beautiful tall table centerpieces.

The Sangeet Ceremony: The Sangeet ceremony at Mehrangarh fort was a truly memorable event. We have invited many folk dancers and well-known singers from Delhi to entertain the guests. For decoration, we relied on a blend of traditional Rajasthan along with some modern colors.

Overall, every single guest along with the wedding couple and their parents were all praise for our efforts and thanked us for making their marriage ceremony truly memorable.
